3.0 Installation

3.1 Do you supply wall anchors with Pizazz standoffs?

It is crucially important that the A Parts are securely attached to the wall/substrate. Secure and safe installations require that the wall/substrate anchors used are specifically made for use with the type of wall/substrate at the installation. These anchors are available from hardware stores.

For this reason, we do not supply anchors and screws because there are a number of different walls and/or substrates types, made from different materials; wood, concrete, brick, hollow etc. There are wall anchors specifically made for use with each type of wall/substrate and we have not seen a universal anchor that functions well across all types of walls/substrates.

3.2 How far apart can Pizazz Standoffs be spaced?

Spacing is determined by the rigidity and weight of the panel material, the size of and the ‘desired look’. As a general rule for rigid panels a mid-point M is used when the distance apart exceeds 600mm for small, 900mm for medium and 1200mm for large, XL + XXL size. M – these dimensions should be reduced for panels that are not rigid.

3.3 Can Pizazz standoffs be used outdoors?

Pizazz standoffs can be used externally/outdoors subject to the following considerations:

‍Pizazz Aluminium – Made from 6063 grade which, when anodised, can be used in external/outdoor applications. Our Bright Silver and Satin Silver colours are not anodised, and we do not recommend them to be used outdoors. All of the other colours are anodised.

‍Pizazz Hybrid Aluminium/Resin –Hybrid Aluminium/Resin standoffs can be used externally/outdoors with the exception of Bright Silver and Satin Silver. The A and/or B parts of our Hybrid range are made of Resin which can also be used externally (see Resin information below).

‍Pizazz Resin – can be used externally/outdoors, because the Resin will not corrode, and they have a UV inhibitor additive in them. We have carried out trials to ascertain how they perform externally/outdoors in New Zealand’s very high UV climate. Out Standard colours performed well, with no visible signs of fading after 6 months, but the bright colours did show some fading – some colours more than others, especially red, but all bright colours to some extent. However, most locations around the world do not have the harsh UV environment of New Zealand.

4.0 Sundry

4.1 How do I get a Mono+Multi Display Pack?

Mono+Multi Display Packs are sold by us at well below cost, to help you grow sales.If they are purchased with a PO, then they would be part of that PO and it would be processed and delivered on the usual basis – freight paid by Pizazz. If they are purchased on their own, a shipping + handling charge will apply which varies according to destination – approximately $60.00 or equivalent – please enquire at sales@pizazzdistribution.com

4.2 Can I buy single Parts if I need a replacement/s?

Yes, email sales@pizazzdistribution.com and provide details of the spare parts you want and Pizazz will respond advising how this process works.

4.3 Can I buy Pizazz Resin standoffs with different coloured parts?

Yes, we can suply our Resin standoffs with different coloured parts combined, according to your selection.

4.4 Can you supply custom colours of Pizazz Resin standoffs?

Yes, we can supply custom coloured Pizazz Resin Standoffs - minimums apply - please email sales@pizazzdistribution.com

4.5 Are Pizazz standoffs eco-friendly?

Yes, both our aluminium and Resin stadoffs can be recycled and the material re-used.
