How do edge•mounts work?

Each Pizazz Edgemount has four parts, G + H + I +L. See installation video below

G Parts are secured to a vertical or horizontal surface with screws (and wall anchors if required).
I Parts screw into the G Parts and hold the back panel between the I and G Parts.
L Parts can hold multiple panels and a graphic image between the L and G Parts.
The L Parts slide into the G Parts and are secured by H Parts that screw into the base of the G Part.

Invented by Pizazz, our patented Edgemounts are by far the most elegant Edgemounts ever made. Their low-profile, minimalistic design avoids competing for visual attention with the images and/or text they are securing.

Create your own unique displays with Pizazz Edgemounts.

They can be mounted on walls, countertops, and many other vertical and horizontal surfaces. They can also be mounted on a panel, as well as back-to-back. Displays can be installed with or without a panel border depending on the desired effect. Edgemounts can be installed along the top (x2) and bottom (x2) edges of a panel, or one on each of the four sides. You can combine panels made from a large range of materials with different colours and textures to create your own unique displays.

When selecting the location for your display, the first criterion is to ensure that it has sufficient light for it to achieve maximum visual impact. Make your display the sole focus of attention in its location. When selecting the location, consider anything in the immediate vicinity that would compete for visual attention, and relocate it to eliminate that competition. Some colours go well together, and some do not. Your image will look its best when the colour of the wall behind it is from the same colour family as your image. If that is not possible, the next best option is a neutral colour back wall, e.g., white, silver grey, or black.

Derek Besant RCA has had a long and innovative career. He started by graduating with a BFA Honours from the University of Calgary, then worked as the Exhibitions Designer for the Glenbow Museum. He taught in the Drawing and Fine Arts Department at the Atlanta University of Art and Design, becoming Head of their Drawing Department and subsequently lecturing at Texas State University in San Marcos. Derek has also been invited to curate exhibitions around the world.
