How to choose the right Pizazz Multimounts for your installation

Understand load capacity.
Pizazz Multimounts have a panel weight and thickness specification. This varies depending on the material and the size of the Multimounts. It is important to choose Multimounts able to securely support the weight and thickness of your panels. Aluminium Multimounts have the largest panel weight and thickness carrying capacity. A panel weight schedule and panel weight and thickness capacity schedules are available in the Multimounts technical section.

Choose the appropriate material.
Multimounts are available in Aluminium, Resin, or Hybrid – which is a combination of a resin barrel and an aluminium front screw. Hybrid Multimounts give you the appearance of aluminium Multimounts at a lower cost and are virtually indistinguishable because the resin barrel is hidden behind the back panel. If Hybrid Multimounts have the thickness and weight capacity to support your installation, they are a cost-effective option.

Choose the appropriate size.
Aluminium Multimounts are available in 5 sizes: Small, Medium, Large, XL, and XXL. Hybrid Multimounts are available in 4 sizes: Small, Medium, Large. Resin Multimounts are available in 3 sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. Size dimensions are shown on the Multimounts product pages.

Choose the appropriate colour.
Aluminium Multimounts are available in: Bright Silver, Satin Silver, Satin Chrome, Satin Black, Satin Gold, and Bright Gold. Hybrid Multimounts are available with Aluminium front screws in the Aluminium colours. Resin Multimounts are available in: Silver, Nickel, Clear, White, Black, Blue, Red, Yellow, Grey, Green, in both Gloss and Matt finishes. We recommend colour-coordinating your Multimounts with the colour of your panels to avoid them competing for visual attention with your images. Another option is to colour-match your Multimounts with a predominant colour in your images. Done carefully, this option can work well.

Important note: if your installation is onto a wooden wall, we recommend using 8 or 9 gauge wood screws, at least one inch long. If your installation is onto any other type of wall, be sure to use wall anchors specifically designed for that type of wall.
